Chairman ITTAC

Mr. Renji Issac is the Chairman of the Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC). He also holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of R&D and Technology at CEAT Limited.

With a distinguished career spanning over three decades, Mr. Issac brings a wealth of experience in the tyre industry from his work in both India and Europe. His expertise encompasses the entire product lifecycle, including product development for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), advanced manufacturing processes, and cutting-edge research and development.

A 1991 B.Tech graduate from the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Mr. Issac began his professional journey with Apollo Tyres. He later transitioned to CEAT Ltd., where he now leads their technology and innovation vertical. His leadership at ITTAC is instrumental in guiding the Indian tyre industry on technology, standards, and safety.

Vice Chairman ITTAC

Mr. Ravin T Kurian is Senior General Manager – Product Development at MRF Ltd. He is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and a post graduate in Chemistry from the prestigious BITS Pilani.
He has a long experience of 35 years in the Tyre Industry in a variety of roles encompassing process control, factory technology and product development.

For the last 27 years he has been intensely involved in product development responsible for the development of a variety of products ranging from two-wheeler to passenger and commercial tyres and tubes.

Travel is a passion with him. Theatre and reading are other pursuits that he enjoys.
