ITTAC Secretariat is located at the prestigious PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry at New Delhi. The Secretariat liaises with the Govt and regulatory bodies regarding different technical aspects of tyres, prepares and monitors agenda for Committee and Sub-committee meetings and organizes Tyre Care & Safety Awareness drives.

Niteesh Kumar Shukla
Senior Director – ITTAC
Niteesh Kumar Shukla has completed M.Sc. in Chemistry from Delhi University, M. Tech in Rubber Technology from IIT Kharagpur & presently pursuing his PhD from Vels University, Chennai. He has an overall 11 years of work experience. His working journey started with IRMRA in the year 2009 where he worked in various departments under different capacities. He was working as Deputy Director and Head of the south centre of IRMRA till his joining as Director-ITTAC. During working at IRMRA, He has handled different Govt. sponsored R&D & Defect Investigation projects and He has encouraged and guided more than 10, B. Tech & M. Tech students.
His contribution at IRMRAโs Center of Excellence for tyre research, testing and certification are remarkable. He has delivered lectures in more than 100 training programs on Rubber Technology and delivered more than 10 talks in the different national and international conferences. He has represented IRMRA as a member of several committees like the Transport Engineering Department, TED-7, BIS, Automotive Industry Standards Committee (AISC), Technical Standard Committee, TSC-CMVR & GRB. He is a Lead auditor of IRCA certified ISO 9001and also a Technical Assessor of ISO/IEC 17025 for NABL.

Vinay Vijayvargia
Deputy Director – ITTAC
Overall work experience of 22 years in Tyre Industry. Vinay started his career in the year 2000 with Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. in Technical Service Department and worked at various places in India like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Nagpur etc. in Sales and Service departments of companies like Goodyear India Ltd., Hankook Tyres till 2012.
Vinay joined Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC) in Augโ2012, a technical body representing 9 large tyre manufacturers in India. His current role involves in establishment of engineering standards for pneumatic tyres, tubes, rims and valves used in automotive vehicles. He also represents Indian Tyre Industry with Government organizations like Automotive Research Association of India, Bureau of Indian Standards, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Mr. Vinay Vijayvargia did post-graduation from Symbiosis Institute, Pune after completing graduation from Chennai University.
