Bureau of Indian Standards joins hands with ATMA for Tyre Care Sessions

ATMA conducted a Tyre Safety session for officers of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). As the national standards body of India, BIS has set new benchmarks in setting standards with the principal aim of ensuring safety of the consumers. The response from BIS was overwhelming with over 65 officers joining in the Tyre Safety session at the auditorium located at Manak Bhawan, BIS Headquarters.

While the session was on, certified engineers from ATMA member companies held a tyre clinic at BIS premises and inspected tyres of over 50 vehicles belonging to staffers of BIS and shared vital tips on tyre maintenance

As an indicator of the seriousness attached by BIS to the subject of Tyre Safety, DDG Standardization Mr. Rajeev Sharma, TED head Mr. RR Singh and Scientist B, TED Mr. August Dubey was present throughout the session.
