About DTI:
Driver Training Institutes (DTIs) are established across India to train and certify commercial heavy and light motor vehicle drivers. Working in collaboration with State Governments and the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), these institutes provide both classroom and practical training to improve driving skills, enhance road safety, and promote efficient vehicle operation.
Ashok Leyland has been closely associated with Driver Training Institutes (DTIs) for nearly three decade. They have established 17 Driver Training Institutes across India
Key Objectives of the Training Session
- To create awareness about Tyre Care & Safety
- To understand the importance of various aspects related to Tyre maintenance (incl. Inflation pressure, Tread Wear Indicator, etc.).
Training Methodology
Training session (3-3.5 hours) was conducted via. a power point presentation.

14 no. of Instructors based at Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh DTI centers.
