ATMA re-launches School Connect Programme

ATMA has recommenced its School Connect programme along with its technical wing, ITTAC. Road and Tyre Safety awareness sessions have been conducted for students of classes 3 to 6.
In the current financial year, such sessions have been held at nearly 28 schools in the country. During these sessions, children participate in games and role plays aimed at creating awareness about road signs and traffic rules.
Catch them young is the right way to instill the need for Road & Tyre Safety. Informed children wield big influence on the choices/ thought patterns of adults and that includes sensitivity to road safety.
Children can be instrumental in spreading awareness on road safety in the society. Children travelling with families can insist on road safety in a way that no regulation can match.

United Nations is also of the view that children in India can help in improving road Safety by spreading awareness on the same.
